28 Feb 2010

So going to bed after 9pm does not equal waking up later in the morning. MasterA was awake at 515 and MasterJ was up and playing when I got up to get MasterA just before 6am - so who knows what time he was actually awake!!! AND they didn't sleep any longer during their daytime sleeps either :-S

Another hot day, seems to be the norm around here!! We went down to the park at the Mandurah foreshore where the boys played with MasterT and MissL. They had a ball in the park and I got heaps of great shots. Todays PAD was the best shot I got of them all together. MasterA was the only non-willing participant, but it was still nice to get a pic of all of them.

We went in the pool this afternoon and MasterA was like a different child. Chucking himself about everywhere - launching into the water, blowing bubbles etc! Don't know what has come over him!!

It looks like another warm one tomorrow for the public holiday - pool here we come again :-D

27 Feb 2010

The boys had their swimming lessons this morning and they both did really well. MasterJ is more and more confident and fish like every time he gets in the water and MasterA only had a few minutes of meltdown this week!!

We went to the brother and sister-in-laws this afternoon for a swim and a BBQ. So the boys spent the best part of the day swimming today! I took my camera with me as there are lots of flowers in the their garden, but I found something much more interesting to snap for my PAD......this spider was MASSIVE and UGLY - but it made for good photos!!! ewwwwwwwwwww

The boys had a late night, not getting to bed until after 9pm......

26 Feb 2010

UGH.....this heat is horrible!!!!

It was an early start to the day today....again! I had to be in Subiaco for my eye appointment at 8am and I decided to take MasterJ with me since he loves travelling on the train! So we left here just before 630 and I think it was at least 30deg at that time!!! I was going to take my D90 with me and spend some time taking pictures in the city, but I decided against it due to the heat and the fact that I didn't think I would be able to take proper pictures and keep an eye on MasterJ at the same time!!!

My eye appointment went well. I have 20/20 vision in both eyes and together I have 20/50 vision - so that is all good!

We headed back into the city after the appointment and went to Dome for "cookie and milkshake". Dome is right next to the Trinity Church and it has perfect photo backdrop walls. I wanted MasterJ to model for me, but considering he doesn't do anything I say, I knew it was going to be a lost cause. Out of all the photos I took, todays PAD is about the only one that was any good. I had my Lumix p&s with me, so I used that! It was at this point that I was glad I hadn't lugged the D90 with me too!!

When we got back to Warnbro I decided to take MasterJ with me to the fish shop and we got some new fish for our tank. We got 3 Johanni (2 female and 1 male) and a Gibbicep. So I had some fun(?) putting them in the tank when we got home.

I went and got the pool water tested this afternoon and took both boys in with me after we got home. MasterA really surprised me today and he loved the pool. He was climbing up the steps, sitting on the side then coming back in and letting go and climbing back up the steps again. He was happy and laughing and kicking and pulling. It was so nice to see him enjoying the water again! Hopefully he will continue this at his lesson tomorrow!!!

Another busy day tomorrow. The boys have both got their swimming lessons in the morning then it is off to the IL's for a BBQ tomorrow afternoon....I wonder how long it will be before I have a day of nothing again?????

Oh and I registered MasterJ for soccer for next term and started on the hunt for a house cleaner :-D

25 Feb 2010

HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT
Kindy gym this morning was the start of a hot and bothering day!! MasterA is being a sooky la la and it seems to be getting worse :-S We went to the shops afterwards for "cookie and milkshake" and got a bit of moolah back from Medicare and HBF.

I watched the winter olympics while the boys were in bed - wish could have seen way more than what I have -oh well, that's the pennance for having a life I guess :-) I also snapped a few piccies around the house. I must say my creativity was waning today, so I thought I would take a photo and play around with some of the artistic editing features in Photoshop. So I ended up with 2 I liked, so I have 2 for today!!

I really didn't want to go back out in the heat this afternoon, but the grocery shopping needed doing. So I took MasterJ for our weekly shopping ritual then came home and had a dip in the pool. MasterJ is now eating his dinner, so I think I will take MasterA off to have a bath on his own and see if he enjoys that a bit more!!

24 Feb 2010

WOW - hot one today - going to be hotter tomorrow!!

Last work day for the week and it ended with a meeting with my boss - more stuff he wants from me, oh well, I guess that's why he's the boss! LOL

I went to the fish shop on my way home from work with the intention of getting some more fish - but there were just so many to choose from I got all confused over what will go with the fish we already have!!! So I said I would go back in with MrJ to help decide!!!

MasterA has a very very sore bottom and is doing runny poo's - so I think his molars must be getting ready to come through. The only time he has ever had this issue is when he is teething, so it is a logical connection! Daycare rang up today because he seemed to be in so much pain and MrJ didn't take his bum cream in with him this morning. So he paid the price and had to go and pick him up early this afternoon.

For some reason MasterA has been grumpy when he has his bath for the last few days. So I took the opportunity of his free facial expressions to take some snaps tonight. Todays PAD is one of those shots and also my entry for this weeks theme of "broken". I have taken a different angle on "broken" as in his spirit is broken. I wanted to do something different than taking a picture of something that has physically broken. Not sure if people will "get" it, but I like to be different :-D

23 Feb 2010

Another day, another day at work.

While driving to work I keep eyeing off the sunrise and keep spewing that I miss the opportunity of being up and out so early to get photos of it. So I whipped out the P&S before I got onto the freeway this morning, and this is my PAD. There were some light poles in the way and wasn't the best way to take a photo (lol), but that's it for today!!!

I came home after work and went to the gym after the boys were bathed and ready for bed. I went a bit harder tonight and it felt good to be getting back into it. Off again tomorrow night :-D

Just had my dinner, now time to see what's on the telly. Hmmmm, no chocolate in the house :-(

22 Feb 2010

Monday - work day - YAWN..........

I haven't been to the gym for quite a few weeks because of starting work and my eye ops - so I decided today was the day to get back into it! I took my gear with me to work with the intent to go straight there after work. On the way home on the freeway I ummmed and arrrrrred over whether to go straight home.....BUT.....I went to the gym as planned.

I didn't go overboard - ust 30 mins on the treadmill - gotta ease back into it ROFL!!! The thing is I actually went, so it should make it easier tomorrow and the next day.....

Got home to find out, that although Jack kept his nappies dry again...he also just merrily pooed in his pants while outside playing. I DON'T GET IT!!! He was toilet trained during the day - everything on the toilet - and it's like his little brain can't cope with NOT doing anything in the nappy AND doing it all on the toilet.... Not sure how to combat this one - any suggestions???
I've just sat down after feeding and bathing the kiddies, and cooking and eating dinner....PHEW...

I took a pic in the car on the way home today, but then also snapped my runners after I took them off - so I have 2 PAD for today :-D
NOW WHERE'S THE CHOCCIE!!!!

21 Feb 2010

Pretty quiet day today. I set myself up outside to do some scrapping while the boys played. But MasterA put a stop to that as he was whingey and clingy most of the morning. I got him out of the play area and put him down on the floor, he made a beeline straight for the driveway. I ran inside to get my camera to snap him wiggling his way up the slope - and that is todays PAD!!!!

MrJ came home at lunchtime, so I went back out to get some pages done while the boys were asleep, then MasterJ woke up and went in the pool. He had a 2 dry nappies again today BUT....pooed when he was in the pool >-( did I already say I don't understand kids????

MasterA woke up still whingey this arvo, so not sure what is wrong with him - just having a sooky la la day I think!!!

20 Feb 2010

I GOT A SLEEP IN!!!!!

MasterJ did come in when he woke at about 540am, but I ignored him long enough that MrJ got out and saw to both boys. He had them playing up the other end of the house and it was just before 8 before I actually surfaced ....woot woot!! Can't remember the last time I got up so late!!

It was swimming day today and MrJ came along for the first time in ages. MasterJ is at 9am and MasterA at 1030am. Last time I came home in between and swapped kids, but this time we killed the time in between at the cafe and the playground at the pool. MasterJ is doing so well at his lessons, even listening to the teacher. MasterA still has this issue for the first 15minutes where he is all sooky and angry. I have a video I have to upload, I will put the link on here when I have done it!! Todays PAD is the kids on the swings at the playground inbetween lessons. Taken with the P&S.

While we had a successful day with dry nappies after waking up...it wasn't so good during the day >-( After MasterJ had been outside playing he announces that he had done a poo in his pants. He didn't even tell me straight after he had done it cos it was flat as a pancake and stuck to his butt....I don't think I will ever understand children :-S
I got a bit more scrapping done while the boys were asleep this arvo, other than that, the arvo was spent at home and the boys played.

19 Feb 2010

I decided that it was about time I did some housework....ugh....so I got the dusting, vacuuming and floor cleaning done this morning and boy does the place look better....hardly suprising really!! A couple of loads of washing done aswell and that's pretty much my day!!!

MasterA has this week decided he no longer needs two sleeps a day, and while he'd prefer to go back to bed around 9 or 10am, I have decided that he can go to bed at the same time as MasterJ!! So today was the first day we have spent fully at home and the challenge was to keep him as occupied as possible until lunch time, then he would go to bed. Todays PAD shows what he thinks of that idea!!! Anyway, we managed it and he had a good 3 hours from about 1215 onwards while MasterJ had his normal hour!!

We also had a win with MasterJ. I decided that it was about time to try and get him out of nappies for his sleeps. So last night when he went to bed (still in a nappy) I told him that he was to come straight out of his room in the morning and come and wake me up and no wees or poos in his nappy. Sure enough I get a tap on my arm at 550am and there is MasterJ telling me that he just woke up and came to see mummy!!! Completely dry nappy. Same process at sleep time today, he came straight out with a dry nappy. Normally he has an udgy pooey nappy in the morning and most of the time after his day time sleep....today just one humungous poop on the toilet this afternoon. So day 1 has been a success...lets see what happens tomorrow!!!

I'm off out for dinner shortly then on to scrapping for the evening, so toodlepip!!

18 Feb 2010

Nice hot day today!!

The air conditioner man finally came to fix our air conditioner today. While it seems the compressor issue seems to be fixed, the fan still blows at one level - FULL ON. So apparantly they are ordering a new fan unit for it and should be here in a couple of days. This is now about 10 weeks on from when we first contacted them....
Anyway, I took the boys to kindy gym, where plenty of fun was had - then off to the shops for a cookie and milkshake!!!

They must have worn themselves out as they both had massive sleeps. MasterJ slept for nearly 2 hours and MasterA a bit over 3! Once they were both up we took off to do the grocery shopping...fun!

I went out in the garden to see what I could snap for my PAD. I ended up choosing the purple flower as I like the colour and the yellow bit in the middle looks like a hand!

17 Feb 2010

Eyesight was pretty good this morning and I drove to work. But I have been feeling crap and had a headache all day. It is hard to tell if it is my eye causing the headache or if it is this stupid head cold. I have now just started coughing as well....great.

I forgot to take my eye drops to work as well, that didn't help the comfort level!

After school MasterJ had a swim and this is how I got my PAD. We have been teaching him to dive into the pool by explaining that it is like doing a roley poley. Then he actually puts his head on the brick to try and do one!! Luckily we manage to stop him and he goes in head or arms first! It is sooo cute!

Since my last eye drops my eye has gone blurry again. I'm pretty sure my right eye was a bit on and off for a couple of days, so hopefully it is nothing. Still have this headache and feel blurgh. Might be an early night tonight and I will record SYTYCD!

16 Feb 2010

I had a terrible nights sleep, must've seen the time on the clock every 15 mins :-S and therefore continued to feel like crapola this morning. I had stopped sneezing though, so it looked good for my eye op.

I spent my free time this morning getting my shot done for this weeks challenge of "colourful". This is the same picture I have used for my PAD. I saw this technique on a photo at the club last week, so thought I would give it a go. If I had more patience I could get it perfect, but I don't, so this is as good as it gets :-P

Daycare rang and I had to go and pick MasterA up because he had been sick 3 times. There was nothing wrong with him, it was just one of his "spewy" days, but still he had to come home.

My eye op went well. It was a much shorter wait than last time and I was finished by 2pm, so MrJ came an pciked me up early and we went home before my evening appointment. THe evening appointment was also a much quicker affair and the pressure in my eye was all good. From what I can tell behind the bluriness, the vision is quite good :-D

15 Feb 2010

I woke up this morning feeling a little blah like the start of a cold - sure enough I have had a rotten head and been sneezing all day. This is not good news as I have my second eye op tomorrow. If I am sneezing my head off I won't be able to have it as I need to be able to lie still for 15 minutes. So I have been taking cold and flu tablets all day in the hope it has dried up by 12pm tomorrow - fingers crossed.

I managed to get my presentation finished that I have been putting together to educate the Excom on what we SHOULD be doing....I think it looks good and hopefully it will have the impact that I am after.

Got home from work to MasterA screaming in his cot - it looks like he has definately dumped his arvo sleep, this was the 3rd day in a row. MasterJ was itching to go in the pool. Since I felt like crap, MrJ took MasterJ in the pool and MasterA played outside while I had a little rest.

I took the camera out to get my PAD - not very interesting and it is unedited as I can't be bothered tonight! This was MasterA chomping on a gum nut, hit favourite activity when outside!

14 Feb 10

I managed to get a fair bit done today. Three loads of washing all done and put away, cleaned up the place a bit to hopefully be able to do some housework on Tues morning inbetween the boys going to school and my 2nd eye op! After that I think I am going to get serious about getting a cleaner in. It is just too hard with the boys around to be able to get it done. I guess if I gave up doing other stuff I could do it, but, meh then I wouldn't have a life!!

So it was Valentines Day today. It appears that we both forgot about it first thing this morning and MrJ went off to his club. I got a text saying happy valentines day, so obviously had been reminded by the radio. So then I remembered his card and present in the car. He picked me up some flowers on the way home and wrote my card out when he got home. So, I didn't get a "present" because it is only valentines day (doesn't matter that he has bought me presents on other valentines days) AND he didn't forget??? Although the flowers were nice, they pale in comparison to the Deep Purple tix that I gave him......

Anyway, todays PAD is of the flowers - SOOC

I went in the pool with MasterJ this morning and was very refreshing. It is nice to be able to see while in the pool now too!! It will be even better after Tuesdays op!!

MasterA has refused his afternoon sleep for 2 days in a row now - please don't let this be the start of one sleep a day!!!

13 Feb 2010

Today was MissL's (above) first birthday party so we went off to Abingdoon Miniature Village to help her celebrate. It was a lovely morning, getting a bit hot towards the end of it! MasterJ had lots of fun running around and playing with MasterT and MasterA, well, he just plonked himself on the bench infront of the food and single handidly destroyed it......
Todays PAD was from the party, I just thought it was a classic capture :-D

After the party I took off to my Scrapping day, where I got up to MasterJ's 2nd birthday Whohooooo I am only 9 months behind with his album YAY

12 Feb 2010

Today we have tried to teach MasterJ a new lesson. We emptied his moneybox and allowed him to spend his money on something at the shops. The idea is that he will now get a coin for good behaviour and when he is helpful and he will put it in his money box. Then periodically he will be able to empty his money box and go and buy something. He enjoyed emptying and spending his money and seemed excited at the prospect of getting money for being good, so we'll see how it goes!! Todays PAD is a photo of his moneybox and the $15.25 that was inside it!

So we went to the shops to get some supplies and MasterJ spent his money on 3 formula 1 racing cars and a Batman cartoon "moobie", so he was happy!! We also managed to pick up a 3 wheeler scooter for $29 from Kmart.
MasterJ likes his now "stoocar" and had fun riding around on it...he also had some fun in the pool today.

I went through my photos and with MrJ's help selected 9 to submit to the WAPF interclub competion for the convention in April, but I wasn't able to upload them online ....grrrr

11 Feb 2010

Another busy day.....nothing unusual there :-D

Being a Thursday it was Kindygym day and the kids enjoyed themselves as usual. We had our standard cookie and milkshake after then we had to head home as I had to go into work for a few meetings this afternoon.

I stopped in and did the grocery shopping on the way home and had this wonderful idea that I would take MasterJ to the beach and get some sunset shots. I expanded on this idea and invited his friend MasterS along to play. They had an absolute ball. I stupidly took a towel thinking that I would just dry his feet off....but....he was soaked from head to foot and covered in sand!! I took sooooooooooooo many photos it was stupid and I have spent this evening culling them from more than 300 down to just over 100 :-O I also have edited a few, but most on my FB are SOOC (straight out of the camera!) With so many photos it was hard to pick one for the day, but given the time and my tiredness, I have chosen the one above :-D

10 Feb 2010

Another day at work.......

Not much to add about today! :-P MrJ has lost 8kg in the first week since his OP, not surprising considering he is on a liquid diet!!
I snapped away at the boys during and after their bath tonight and got some nice pics. My PAD was after their bath before rounding them up to get dressed!

I also had a go at a shot for this weeks challenge of Simplicity:

9 Feb 2010

I had my eye follow up appointment this morning. It was at 850am....the Dr walked in to start his day at 930 .....grrrrr

Anyway, my eye was tested and I have 25% better than "normal" vision, which is excellent. Basically I can read the row on the eye chart below what is considered "normal".

Tonight I got home to no milk and a "well I don't need it, so I didn't get any"......use your imagination on what happened next!!!

I went to the Rockingham Photography Club meeting tonight and I had submitted photos for the 2009 Photographer of the Year. There were some great entries and I thought "may as well put some in anyway"....well I ended up with 2nd place for my picture of MasterJ drinking out of a water fountain....I am still in shock hahaha...I won $100 too!!!

By the time I got home I realised that I hadn't taken a shot for PAD, so I crept into MasterA's room and snapped him sleeping!!

8 Feb 2010

Hi ho hi ho it's off to work I go.....

Hold fire, something's happened, drop everything else and go and investigate the "errors" that have occurred in Supplier Support and fix them ASAP........talk about reactive management grrrrrr

That sums my day at work up!!

Then I get home from work about 4ish (after leaving at 615am). Mr J sits with his feet up falling asleep while I cook dinner, feed the kids, play with the kids etc.........

Master helped me make the dinner, and this was where I was able to capture my PAD.

7 Feb 2010

I think we had some rain overnight, must be the first wet stuff we have had in a while!!

I got a bit of housework done this morning, with a little help from the boys ;-) Then when MasterA went to bed, MasterJ and I went outside and had a bit of fun with bubbles, hence the PAD today! He kept letting them land on his hand. By the time I got the camera focussed one had just popped and the other was heading towards his hand. It was hard trying to blow the bubbles then chase them and get the settings and focus correct to take a picture. I WILL get it one day :-)

This afternoon I took MasterJ to the foreshore for a play at the park. He had an icecream, which was an interesting experience. He had fun and even said "thankyou mummy for the play and the icecream" on the way home....daaaaawwwwwww

6 Feb 2010

First day back at swimming lessons for this year. I was worried about taking MasterJ since he is so independant in the pool now. But the new group that he is in is good because they encourage the kids to be seperated from us - as if MasterJ needs encouragement!! He did great with his swimming, but he needs to work on his listening skills!!! They make them sit on the step and listen to what they have to do next. Something that he will have to master lol.

MasterJ's lesson was at 9am and MasterA at 1030. So I came home, swapped kids, and took MasterA back to his lesson. His was a bit of a mixed bag. He was upset for half of it and fine for the other half. Not sure why he is like that, but I will get him in the pool here as much as possible (when we warm it up a bit for them!!)to try and get him over whatever issue he has!

I continued doing a scrap page I started last night and it is looking good :-D

I went out and about while the boys were in bed to see if I could snap some different photos. I got a few, but the one above was the one I chose for PAD. I really need to go through all my non children photos and sort out what to keep and what to delete. I think I migh scrap these at camp in April.

While the boys played outside this afternoon I caught up on my blog :-D and internet stuff that I have neglected over the last few days.

MrJ is on his 3rd day of clear fluids, he moves to other fluids tomorrow for 2 weeks before starting pureed stuff.

My eye is all good. Just lopsided now, my left eye feels a little tired, but I think my right eye is doing a good job of making up the difference :-)'

5 Feb 2010

A little less frantic day today :-D Spent most of the day hanging around the house. Master J was the only one brave enough to go in the pool, it was a lot colder than it has been!! The boys both played outside quite well together and I took the opportunity to snap a few shots. But I decided on this shot of MasterA eating his jam sandwich for PAD!
Finished the day off today with a scrapping evening. I didn't do many pages, but learnt some new cool layouts!! On the way home at 11pm there was a RBT blitz on the freeway. Both sides, EVERY car!!

4 Feb 2010

Busy busy busy!
I had to wake the boys up at 530am so we could get MrJ to the hospital for 630. As soon as we got on the freeway I was watching the sky as there were some awesome looking clouds with the sunrise - shame I was driving and didn't have my Nikon with me as this weeks challenge is Clouds!!
We dropped MrJ off and as I got back onto the freeway, the sun and clouds looked awesome over the Swan River. So I ducked off the freeway into South Perth and snapped a couple of pics on my Lumix out of the car window. This is my PAD and my entry for the Clouds challenge this week!!
We grabbed some brekkie at home then headed out to the first Kindy Gym of the year. There were lots of new kiddies and MasterA started joining in. The first thing he did was climb on to the plank and try to climb the climbing frame....oh dear!!!
We went and had morning tea with Chels and MasterS and wandered around the shops for a little while before returning home and the boys then had a 3 hour sleep!! It was great, I managed to catch up on SYTYCD in readiness for the Top20 episode that night :-D

When the boys woke up we headed out to do the groceries and when I got home MrJ was finally awake enough to talk!! The op went well and he was feeling ok. He didn't want us to bother going up to see him, just for us to go and pick him up in the morning. Then about 10 minutes later he called to say the Dr had seen him and he could come home tonight! So off we went back up to the city to pick him up!!!

It was a busy day!!

3 Feb 2010

YAWN!!!! I didn't sleep very well last night, hardly suprising really!! My eye was a bit sticky this morning, which is interesting to deal with when you are not allowed to rub your eye!!!

I took the train and bus to work as my right eye was still blurry and my left eye is still shortsighted! The train was delayed as there was a problem with it, so it travelled straight to Perth doing a reduced speed.

I kept my sunnies on most of the day as I have been instructed to keep my eye covered for the first 5 days. Since I can't keep it covered with normal glasses, sunnies it was!! I found it a little hard to see the computer screen, but it did improve over the day. Sitting here writing this, the screen is not a problem, but when I look up to the TV it is blurry. They say it will take a couple of days for it to settle down completely. I hope so, because right now the vision in my right eye is about on par with my left!!!

The drops are killing me. I have to take 4 different drops 4 times a day and 3 of them sting to absolute buggery!!!!

THe boys had a good day at school and are now in bed.

I am hoping for a better night sleep tonight because I am buggered and we have to get MrJ to the hospital up in the city by 630am tomorrow for his operation. This means getting everyone up and in the car by about 545am :-S He has to stay in overnight, so I am not sure if we will head back up after he has had the op or not, we'll just see how it goes.

Kindy gym starts again tomorrow, so we'll come home for brekkie and then head back out to kindy gym.

PAD today is of my cocktail of eye drops!! I took the photo this morning before putting them in. That was a challenge in itself. How do you get a photo in focus when your eye is all blurry????

2 Feb 2010

WOW....what a day!!! The day of my eye operation!!
I took the kids to daycare then went and organised printing my photos out to submit in a local competition. Then it was time to embark on my trip up to have the implantable contact lens put in my right eye!

My admission time was 1215 and I got there just after 12. They probably didn't take me through until after 1230. Then I sat and waited....and waited...and waited......then they started putting drops in my eye to dilate my pupil. There were 4 lots of drops put in over the period of about an hour and a half. I didn't actually go into the theatre until just before 3pm! and I was STARVING!!!! The paperwork they had given me said to have a "light" breakfast then nothing else but water until after the op :-S Apparantly these directions were incorrect and I should've had lunch!!!

Anyway, they completely numbed my eye for the operation so all I could feel was sensations of pressure and cold...and STINGING!!!! The actual op took about 15 minutes and then they gave me some sandwiches YAY!!! They rang MrJ to come and pick me up. So he went and picked the boys up from daycare, took them home and cleaned them up, then came to get me. It was almost 430 when they turned up.

The plan was to go to Kings Park so MasterJ could play and we would get something to eat at the restaurant there........turns out it was closed for renovations. So we headed into HJ's in Subi!!

My check-up appointment was at 7pm in Westminster, so we headed over there to do some more waiting!!! The boys were great. MasterJ sat and watched a whole movie, while MasterA kept all the sunglass wearing patients entertained. The Dr checked my right eye, put some more drops in and then put drops in my left eye so he could do the iridotomy in preparation for my left eye implant in 2 weeks time. Then....we waited some more :-S. It was 9pm before he did my iridotomy then we were able to head home!

We arrived back home at about 10pm and dragged the very sleepy boys out of the car and to bed. I put more drops in my eye, covered it with the shield and headed to bed - EXHAUSTED!!!

On my way to my appointment it dawned on me that I hadn't taken my PAD. So I pulled my iPhone out and snapped a pic on the corner of a street in Perth. Not a bad picture for my iPhone!!

Back to work for me today...only to discover that it gets worse!!! There seems to be little systems in place and no data or information to support the list of "projects" to be looked at. I am still trying to work out how they came to be on a list of projects without any information to back them up??? :-S

Anyway, I drove today and it took about 45 minutes to get there at 630am and about 40 to get home at 4pm. So it looks like driving in those hours knocks about 30 minutes each way.

The boys seemed to have a good day, so all good there.

I am just preparing myself for my eye op tomorrow, travel etc. It looks like I will go up on the train and depending on how well I can see afterwards I will get the train home again. If not, MrJ will get the kids from school early and come and pick me up. Then we will bum around with them and get some dinner and hang around up in Perth as I have a follow up appointment at 7pm tomorrow night.
Fingers crossed it all goes well!!

I have decided to continue the photo a day challenge into Feb, but with work today and spending time with the kidlets when I got home, I took the camera outside and ended up getting a picture of the dog :-)
